What are skin growths? Skin growths are accumulations of various types of cells that look different from the normal surrounding skin. They may be raised or flat and range in color from dark brown or black to flesh-colored or red. They may be present at birth or develop later as we age.
Are skin growths safe to remove? In most cases, skin growths are non-cancerous and can be safely removed. The treatment Is performed by a professional, certified technician who has been trained to identify the different types of skin growths appropriate for the treatment. All treatments are performed using the strictest sanitary procedures.
What is the Super Frecator? An electrical treatment device that has been used for over 30 years by skincare therapists to remove common skin growths.
How does the Super Frecator work? The device uses High-frequency current that delivers precise electrical sparks through a micro needle electrode at different amplitudes to dehydrate a skin growth. The needle almost always remains above the skin surface and the current sparks across the gap, causing dehydration of the skin growth. As the growth is removed, a natural protective coating of scab develops that covers the treated area. There is no blood associated with the treatment. Once the scab drops off, the treated area will heal, and a new healthy skin will return and take on the color of the surrounding tissue over time.
How does it differ from liquid nitrogen? The Super Frecator 6800 series is generally more effective than liquid nitrogen at removing common skin growths. Liquid nitrogen takes more sessions than the super frecator does and is also more costly.
Is the treatment Permanent? Yes, once a growth is removed with the Super Frecator, it does not return. However, if your skin is prone to these types of growths, a new on may grow elsewhere on the face/body.
